Meditation Bench

A foldable & portable meditation bench

I designed this foldable and portable bench for meditation and to take along to workshops. It can also be used for any other occasion that requires sitting on the floor for long hours. The bench can be used with both legs folded under it or crossed in front. It is the result of nearly 10 different prototypes, in search of the perfect height, curve, and angle for an upright and comfortable seat that accommodates all body sizes.

The benches are made in small batches and on demand. The components are cut with a CNC machine, then sanded and lightly chamfered before being assembled and glued. They are finished with linseed oil, which not only preserves the natural look of the wood but also enhances its grain and the contrast of the layers—plus, it smells amazing!
